Abdominal pain is supposed to be a common complaint and reason for consultation in primary care2 It affects nearly every person once in their lifetime independent from age,gender and social background3,4


Differential diagnosis ranges between self-limiting nonspecific abdominal pain5,6 and life threatening conditions7,8.Abdominal pain is a notoriously difficult symptom due to diagnostic uncertainty.
